Away from the ocean, the city has a lot of variety. The Market Common, built on the old Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, has townhomes, condos, and single-family homes near shops and parks. Grande Dunes has larger homes near the Intracoastal Waterway, often with HOA rules for trucks. Older neighborhoods between Kings Highway and the Bypass have classic ranch homes with easy driveway access. Across the Intracoastal Waterway, many of our customers are moving to or from Carolina Forest, which means a trip over the US 501 bridge.
Traffic and timing matter here. Kings Highway, the 17 Bypass, and US 501 all get crowded in summer, and event weekends can slow things down even more. We plan routes and start times around that. If you need a place to keep things between homes, we offer storage too, which helps a lot when a closing date or lease end does not line up.
